Preparing.....
I am a very very organized person. So, I have already purchased all my meat for the whole 6 weeks of phase two. I went to Whole Foods and got 48 quarter pound pieces of organic boneless skinless chicken breast, and the same amount of steak. When I got home I weighed out each piece and cut it to exactly 100 grams, then put them each in freezer bags, and stuck them in the freezer. So now when I am on phase two, all I have to do is take out one bag of chicken and one bag of steak for each day, then cook it on the George Foreman, and add whatever friuts and veggies for each meal. Yes, I agree, I am a bit anal, but hey, thats what works for me I guess.

Lori - this is a GREAT IDEA - Thank you for sharing... I will have to do this when I get back for my vacation. Any other tips you have please let us know... And I love all the detail in your BLOG - YOU ROCK!!! I cannot wait to do this journey!!!
Toni
I am on my 3rd round of HCG and have found through the successive rounds that nothing makes it easier to stick on than having your protein pre-portioned. My freezer is full of little bags of exactly 3.5oz portions of fish, shrimp, crab, chicken and beef. Good luck to you!
Thanks, Toni....I really enjoy your blog as well!! This journey will be fun to share with you all, and hope to be of help also!!
As far as my meat preparation.... it does take a lot of time to do, but once ya have it done, you don't have to worry about it anymore the whole time you are on the diet....no weighing out meat for each meal, and yada yada yada....
Well good luck to you!!
Lori
PS...where were you for vacation? When do you plan on starting the protocol?
I'll be in PA starting the 28th - the 6th. I plan on starting the 7th of April.
Shelley,
I agree....I am one that HAS TO BE prepared!! Especially because there are days that I just can't get to the store...then what would I do?? lol...so yeah, its all ready for me, then all I have to do is run to Whole Foods every Saturday to get my fruits and veggies for the week, as well as food for the rest of my family, and I'm good!
toni....hope you have a good trip, and good luck to you when you start again.
Well, I didn't buy quite enough to be prepared for the entire 6 weeks but I have 20 days worth all bagged up - YIPPIE!!! It really feels soooooooo freeing. I won't have to worry about getting home when I am so tired and trying to get everything measured out. I will be doing the same as Shelley Ann and running to the store on Sundays to get my fresh items. Then I will be measuring and bagging those up too so I can just grab and run in the morning or have it ready to throw together when I get home. I think I will bag up some stuff to prepare for my kids too - might make the journey a little easier.
Hi Lori,
I'm right there with you in getting everything pre-prepared and frozen. Having everything ready will make it so much easier to stick with the plan. And don't beat yourself up about the first round - you've got loads of support here and are sure to succeed this time!
Thanks, Susan!! I am really excited about this whole thing!!
