Ist Day of VLCD!

Well today is day ONE! My weight after the two load days is 149.0. Hopefully this first week of weight loss is as fast as it normally is in the first week.
Does any body know if beef brisket is okay on phase two???

Howdy, Lori!
Sorry to say, but brisket is wayyy too high in fat to get by with on P2. Remember Simeons says American beef is kind of iffy anyway because it is so high fat. I wouldn't recommend it. If you'd like some variety on this round, consider getting some of the Protein Powder that is very close to the nutritional profile for chicken breast and try out some of my yumbo recipes like pudding and soup (very nice on cold days;)
